You do not have to measure. We do.
If our measurements are wrong, we remake it at our cost. But if you want a rough price tonight, here is how.

Inside the recess
The neat choice for blinds. Width: wall to wall at the top, middle and bottom, use the smallest. Drop: from the top of the recess to the sill.

Outside the recess
For curtains. Makes a window look bigger. Width: the window, plus 15 cm each side so they can stack back off the glass. Drop: from where the track goes to the floor.

Fullness, and why cloth costs what it does
Curtains take more than twice the track in cloth, or they hang flat. A 190 cm track needs about 4.4 metres across. Roll width is 137 cm, so that is 3.5 widths, joined by hand. It is the biggest number on any curtain quote.
Which drop?
- To the sillJust above it. For blinds and small windows.
- Below the sill15 cm under. Where there is a radiator.
- To the floor1 cm clear. Our favourite when the room allows it.
